Nick the owner is very communicative and professional. He sent Dominick and David over to my daughter’s new apartment to unload our moving truck. They both did a fantastic job and could not have been any nicer or professional. They even called ahead to tell us they were running late. It was and added bonus that they both are students at UNCW were my daughter will be attending graduate school. Dominic is even friends with my daughter mentor in the PhD program..small world. Great team, great service , which is saying a lot because I have had less than stellar experiences with many movers and moving companies over the years… highly recommended!!!!

I genuinely don’t know how I would’ve survived this move (physically, mentally, or emotionally) without David and Chase 😭 Give those men a raise, a nap, and maybe even a massage voucher!

I’ll be honest: before move day, communication with the manager/owner leading up to everything had me a little stressed. I found myself having to repeatedly reach out to confirm details and clarify information, and because updates weren’t really being shared proactively, I was lowkey wondering if my movers were actually going to appear. 😅

BUT the second David and Chase arrived? Immediate relief.

They communicated SO well throughout the entire move, double checked before moving anything, asked questions instead of assuming, clarified instructions, and made me feel like my belongings were actually being cared for. They also somehow climbed up and down two flights of stairs for HOURS without complaining once (I’m still feeling guilty watching them do that).

They turned what I thought was going to be an overwhelming, stressful experience into something smooth and manageable. Truly cannot thank them enough. If you book with this company, I hope you get David and Chase, you’ll be in good hands!

I cannot recommend UniMovers enough - they check every box!

Number 1 - they were on time to the minute, very hardworking (I kept asking if they needed a break because we had 3 flights of stairs and a lot of heavy lifting and they took a 5 minute break after 2 hours of work and then kept going).

Number 2 - they were honestly so fun. It was great to hear about how school had been going, what they were studying, plans for the summer and just getting to know the guys.

Number 3 - extremely well priced. I shopped around to a few different companies and no one came close to the price they offered.

I hopefully am not going to be moving again for a while but if I do, I without a doubt will be using UniMovers again. I already told my neighbors at my apartment to give them a call when they were ready to move. I genuinely could not be happier with the service, the conversation, and the huge help they were!

I needed a couple guys to come help us unload our big moving truck on a Sunday. They showed up on time, eager to do the job, and listened to instructions. Mac and David worked very hard, and Mac paid special attention to do things as I requested, do them carefully, and keep the project moving along as quickly and safely as possible. I really appreciate their help and will remember them next time I need services for moving!
